Excellent services, great food and magnificent view. We spent hours here just to enjoy the food and the scenery. Really enjoyed the Crispy Sardines, the Egg Plant Omelette and the coffee. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back again next time :)
HONEST REVIEW.
We visited the place for its breathtaking view of Taal, offering a refreshing ambiance. However, our dining experience left us with mixed feelings. The beef pares with bone marrow was flavorful, but the lukewarm soup and consistently uncooked rice were disappointing. The sisigsilog failed to capture the essence of sisig; the meat tasted aged, and the uncooked rice persisted. Despite these setbacks, the frappe was a hit, though my drink lacked sufficient sugar, possibly due to excessive ice. Although the scenic backdrop was enjoyable, the overall cost of 1,400+ pesos left us questioning the value. TOO PRICEY. There are alternative, more reasonably priced restaurants that offer better culinary experiences. Thank you for the scenic view, but improvements in the dining experience would enhance overall satisfaction.
A beautiful place with a beautiful view of Taal. I did not rate the food because we only had coffee as it was too early for dinner. The ambience was one thing too. A good place for barkadas or groups who would want a place to chill. Recommendable.
Lawa Cafe's Sunrise Tea, White Mocha, and Bibingka with Coconut Shavings create an exceptional culinary journey.
The Sunrise Tea exudes vibrant flavors, offering a refreshing and invigorating start. Meanwhile, the White Mocha provides a creamy, indulgent treat with its balanced sweetness, catering to coffee enthusiasts.
The Bibingka with Coconut Shavings is a delightful finale, presenting a traditional Filipino delight with a touch of Lawa Cafe's uniqueness. The coconut shavings complement the Bibingka's softness, creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.
In summary, Lawa Cafe's combination of the Sunrise Tea, White Mocha, and Bibingka with Coconut Shavings forms a perfect trio, offering a remarkable five-star experience for those seeking diverse and delightful flavors.
This is one of cafe to go in tagaytay ❤️ the only thing taga Lang place nila kasi likod sila ng isa restaurant. Place can't accommodate many guests due to space… but all goods…
Lawa Cafe Tagaytay is the combination of great food, scenic beauty, and reasonable prices makes it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to have a delightful time in Tagaytay.
I only tried their coffee on purpose because of a previous food review that isn't good.
The place is clean and tables are frequently bussed
However, the place is not posh to be charging costly coffee. They don't even customize coffee.
The place has quite a modest-sized parking area, but nonetheless, the place still has a stellar view of Taal Lake. Coffee, both iced and hot, were quite enjoyable for the price. The area itself isn't enclosed, with a portion of the tables roofed with translucent roofing, which really brings in the fresh chilling winds of Tagaytay.
Overall, it's just a chill hangout place. Willing to try the food next time.
